Water Benefits
If you are not drinking your recommended daily amount of water you are doing your skin a huge disservice. And drinking infused water has huge benefits to help skin flareups!

Are you drinking enough water?
If not, you certainly should be. Our skin cells need water to be healthy and to function properly, so drinking the recommended amount of water is essential to the health and beauty of your skin.
Why?
Water maintains the health of all the the cells in our body. Water aids in the elimination of waste and toxins from the body, it helps to regulate body temperature, and is the number one ingredient for good digestion. The recommended daily water allowance for your body weight helps to keep your skin cells plump giving your face and skin a more radiant glow, this one factor alone helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. To eliminate a sallow appearance drinking your recommended daily allowance of water is crucial.
We all know they recommend at least 8 glasses of water a day, right? But is that really the best way to determine your needed intake? And if so what is the recommended daily allowance for your weight?
Here is a quick way to determine what your water intake should be!
Take your body weight and divide it by 16 the resulting number is your needed intake of 8 oz glasses of water everyday.
Infused Water Recipe
When dealing with problematic skin issues such as acne or rosacea flareups I like to recommend infused water to help calm down and hydrate the skin. Adding anti-inflammatory berries, vegetables and citrus to water can quickly eliminate the body of chemicals and toxins and will aid in calming down inflammation.
Follow this recipe for 3-4 days to cleanse the skin and rid the body of toxins.
8-12 ounces of Water
Ten Slices of Cucumber (sliced)
One Hand Full Blueberries
Six Slices of Lemon
Add all to a large water bottle and continue to add water to the bottle through out the day until you have drank your recommended daily amount of water. At the end of the day throwaway the cucumbers, lemons and berries from the bottle and start fresh again each day.

Professional Skincare Routine
Following a professional skincare routine is essential to help your skin look its very best. I recommend seeking a qualified professional who can guide you on a routine that works best for you and your skincare issues. Even healthy skin needs professional exfoliation and hydration services to keep the signs of aging at bay.
I recommend you get six to eight facials per year and if you have aging or troubled skin to get a minimally invasive facial peel two times per year. If you have advanced skin issues, seek the advice of a skincare professional or dermatologist for skincare recommendations to get the best results for your skin.
Glowing skin can be achieved if you make the changes necessary to love the skin you're in!
